- Uiseong Pepper
- The pepper mulching cultivation, with a 30 year history, started in Uiseong. Since we have high temperatures and strong sunshine from May to August, our peppers are rich in nutrients and have beautiful colors. They are very good for Kimchi and hot pepper paste.
- Cultivation Status : 1,892ha, the production amount is 2,838t for 7,746 farmhouses.
- Uiseong native safflower
- The peppers, garlic, apples, etc. from Uiseong district are famous for their quality, however recently it is in the limelight as the cultivation area of the Safflower. The safflower is a thorny native flower around the circumference of a leaf and the native safflower of Uiseong, where the cultivation is optimal, has been cultivated by organic farming techniques including the sprinkling sulfur, and it finds its own level as a new specialty of Uiseong since the cultivation width is 50ha and the production amount is 40 tons annually.
- Uiseoeng Strawberry
- The Uiseong strawberry is cultivated under an affluent riverhead and in fertile soil, and the temperature difference between the day and night is high, so the taste and saccharinity are excellent. In addition to this, it is possible to cultivate extensively due to the mild climate compared to the southern province. Uiseong Strawberries are currently exported to Japan.
- Cultivation Status : 6.5ha and production amount is 132tons.
- Peony
- Uiseong white peony maintains its reputation with pure line preservation by vegetative reproduction, and the cultivation area is the number one for peony production in Korea. Also, the temperature gap is high and since the soil is sandy, it has an excellent effect compared to the products from other provinces.
- Cultivation Status : 13㏊ and production amount is 68 tons.
