  • Geographical Features
    • Mountain Range
      • Uiseong-gun is located in a bask-shaped area between Mt. Taebaeksan stretched from Taebaeksan and Sobaeksan Mountain Range stretched to the southwest. The distance from east to west is 52km and the distance from north to south is 33km, and it looks like a cocoon.
      • A range that originates from Mt. Bohyeonsan) in Youngcheon belonging to Taebaeksan Mountain Range is divided into two in Chusanmyeon, and one of them goes toward the North creating Sandubong Summit in Chusan-myeon, Mt. Hwanghaksan in Oksan-myeon and Mt. Galasan in Danchon-myeon before bending toward the west to reach Mt. Bongamsan in Sinpyeong-myeon, Mt. Dokjeomsan and Mt. Bibongsan in Dain-myeon and again bending toward to create Geonjibong Summit in Pungyang-myeon, Yeocheon-gun to go down to Jungdong-myeon in Sangju-si and end the Ilwol Mountain Range.
      • The mountain range divides the boundary of the gun in some areas in the east, the north and the west. Another range reaches Mt. Seonamsan in Gaum-myeon and Mt. Wangjesan in Gumseong-myeon in the west from Mt. Eobongsan in Chunsan-myeon to create the northeastern boundary in Uiseong-gun, and the range that stretches in the north from Mt. Palgongsan in Daegu changes its direction to the west in Gunwi-gun to make the southwestern boundary of Uiseong-gun by creating Mt. Cheonghwasan in Gucheon-myeon, Jangjabong Summit in Danmil-myeon and Mt. Mangyeongsan.
      • The Nakdong River is the boundary of part of the western and northwestern area of Uiseong-gun. Uiseong basin, which stretches from east to west, was created by flood runoff from the three mountain ranges.
      • Mt. Gumseongsan in Gumseong-myeon is a dormant volcano that created the smaller mountains nearby.

    • Rivers
      • All of the streams in Uiseong-gun are part of the Nakdonggang River water system. Since most of them originate from the gun, and their length tends to be rather short, and the amount of flowing water is insufficient.
      • There are only two in-flowing rivers, and Wicheon Stream, which originates from Goro-myeon in Guwi-gun, flows into Okyeon-ri in Bian-myeon, and it is the longest river in the gun. Another is Bisan Stream which flows into Jangguk-ri in Gucheon-myeon from Dogaebyeon in Gumi-si. The largest plain is on the banks of Wicheon Stream.
      • The other is on the banks of Sanggyecheon Stream which originates from Sinhung-ri in Chunsan-myeon and reaches Sanggye-ri in Bian-myeon
      • There is a relatively large plain around Namdaecheon Stream that originates from Gongjeong-ri in Sagok-myeon and joins Sanggyecheon Stream in Gumi-ri in Bongyang-myeon and on the banks of Micheon Stream which originates from Mt. Hwanghaksan in Oksan-myeon and enters Iljik-myeon in Andong-si.
      • Since Gwangsancheon Stream in Sinpyeong-myeon and Sinpyeongcheon Stream in Ansa-myeon are parallel, there are no plains and a deep ravine has been created.
